George S. Tolly III
George S. Tolley III received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from New York University in 1991. He attended Williams College and graduated magna cum laude in 1988. Before entering private practice, he served for two years as law clerk to the Hon. Herbert F. Murray of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

Mr. Tolley is admitted to practice law in Maryland, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is a Governor of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and served as Chair of the MTLA Medical Negligence Section beginning in 2004. In addition to MTLA, he is a member of the American Association for Justice, the West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the West Virginia Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Bar Associations of several local jurisdictions in Maryland.

Mr. Tolley maintains a prestigious A/V rating from Martindale-Hubbell, publisher of the definitive directory of America's leading lawyers. He has considerable experience in trial and appellate courts, and is a featured guest speaker at continuing legal education seminars for trial lawyers. He also has been published on the intricacies of Maryland's wrongful death statute.

Mr. Tolley has litigated complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases in state and federal courts in Maryland, West Virginia and the District of Columbia, as well as the courts of Delaware, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. His practice is focused in the areas of medical negligence, neonatal orthopedic injuries, failure to diagnose cancer, emergency room negligence and wrongful death cases.
